While we would not have chosen the fantastic bioRxiv.org option if we wouldn’t have been sure that the protocols provided are of the highest quality, we are happy to announce that the core BOMB publication is now fully peer reviewed and published in PLOS|Biology.

We are happy to present the latest Nucleic Acid clean-up protocol “#4.4 BOMB clean-up and nucleotide removal using silica beads”. As always, you can find it on the protocols page or download it directly using this link.
Furthermore a minor modification has been made to “#4.1 BOMB clean-up and size exclusion using silica beads”. It now includes a two sentence description of the binding buffer creation process.
To give you an even better experience using BOMB we have made minor changes to protocols:
#1.1, #2.1, #4.2, #4.3, #6.3, #6.4, #6.7 and #A.1.
If you are already using the slightly older versions of these protocols they are still perfectly valid.
With one exception (#4.3) changes merely concern phrasing and uniformity in the given units.
Protocol #4.3 received a bit of an overhaul and is now even more streamlined.
